Chad Wartick –

Attorney

Chad is an Attorney with Tressler Law where he practices exclusively in the area of family law. Chad helps his clients with all family law matters including: divorce, custody, third party custody, paternity, child support, spousal maintenance, and post decree issues.

Clients appreciate Chad's personable, practical approach to their cases. Chad will seek to minimize any potential negative impact of the case on his clients by finding realistic solutions that are the best for the client and the client's family - without creating unnecessary work or drama. Chad prides himself on being a cooperative attorney; he has successfully mediated and settled numerous cases for his clients.  If a case must be handled in court, Chad stands ready to champion his client's position backed by years of courtroom experience including motion hearings and trials.

Chad received his law degree from Hamline University School of Law. During law school Chad served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Robert A. Awsumb at the Ramsey County Juvenile and Family Justice Center (JFJC), where he gained a practicable understanding of family court procedures and witnessed firsthand the emotional impact family law cases have on the parties.  It was this experience at the JFJC that led Chad to pursue a career helping others navigate family law matters.

Prior to law school Chad received his B.S. in Political Science with an emphasis on Legal Studies, and a minor in Vocal Performance, from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh.

Outside of his practice, Chad is an active member of the Twin Cities community. He volunteers for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities organization, and he sings (baritone) in a local performance choir.

Chad lives in St. Paul with his fiance Rob, and their cat and dog. As a St. Paul resident, Chad enjoys the homes and history of St. Paul's Summit Avenue and looks forward to the Summit Hill House Tour and Ramsey Hill House tour every year. In his free time, Chad also enjoys road trips back to visit his hometown in Northwoods Wisconsin.
